The stacked design maximizes vertical space utilization, increasing livestock capacity by over 3 times compared to traditional free-range farming on the same land area. Feeding System
This system achieves high-density farming through multi-tiered stacked cages, accommodating 30–90 birds per square meter—more than triple the output of traditional methods. Integrated automated feeding, manure removal, and egg collection equipment enable a single operator to manage flocks exceeding 50,000 birds, up from the conventional 5,000, significantly boosting labor productivity.
Manure Cleaning System
Automatic manure removal machines are equipment used for cleaning manure in large-scale poultry and livestock farms. They fall under industrial products in the field of animal husbandry machinery, with major manufacturers including Jinhua Breeding and Qufu Runzhong Machinery. This equipment is suitable for farming scenarios such as cage-raised laying hens, breeding chickens, and cattle, sheep, and pigs. It also serves as a material collection system for factory workshops, achieving automated manure transportation through mechanical transmission.
Egg Collection System
Automatic egg collection systems typically comprise components such as egg collection belts, egg pickers, conveying devices, and control units. They utilize conveyor belts or robotic arms to achieve automated egg retrieval and transportation. For instance, flexible egg collection belts minimize egg collisions, while flipping egg pickers adapt to various cage structures. These systems are often integrated with feeding and manure removal equipment to form fully automated production lines.
Drinking Water System
The drinking system primarily employs a nipple-type enclosed drinking design, with water supply lines arranged along the top of each floor's chicken cages. Each cage is equipped with 2-3 nipple drinkers, and a V-shaped drip tray is permanently installed below to collect splashed water and minimize contamination. The water line's front end incorporates a filter, chemical dosing unit, pressure regulator, and pressure-reducing valve to ensure clean water quality, stable water pressure, and support automated chemical dosing. To address uneven water pressure across multiple tiers, the system employs pressure-regulating devices for high-pressure water supplementation, guaranteeing adequate water supply to chickens at the end of the line.

This successfully addressed efficiency bottlenecks and disease prevention challenges in the region's high-temperature, high-humidity environment. The project incorporates an intelligent environmental control system (featuring dual-speed fans and IoT-based temperature/humidity regulation), end-to-end automated equipment (including step-feeders and centralized egg collection systems), and a digital management platform.
