Chicken Farming Equipment Requires Regular Cleaning and Maintenance

Maintenance is particularly crucial for chicken farming equipment during routine use, as chicken coops are inherently dirty environments. Regular cleaning and upkeep are essential.
1. After each batch of chickens is raised, inspect and tighten all screws on the feed line clips and lifting systems. Lubricate the motor shaft of the feed line with grease and apply a few drops of vegetable oil to the motor housing to prevent rust.
2. For equipment using chain-driven seeders for feeding, regularly inspect the chain and sprockets for normal operation, signs of loosening, or rust. Only when equipment is in good working condition can operational efficiency meet expected performance targets.
3. Before activating the poultry equipment switch, inspect the track for obstructions. Any obstructions may cause equipment deviation or derailment. Therefore, conduct a thorough inspection daily before startup. Additionally, periodically check the control circuit switches and contacts of the feed line for looseness to prevent poor contact.
4. The coordination between components of the layer feeder is controlled by hardened gears and chains. Therefore, maintain adequate lubrication between the hardened gears and chains to prevent component damage due to insufficient lubrication.
5. Significant dust is generated when feed enters the silo. This dust can sometimes prevent the feeding mechanism from starting because it covers the photoelectric switch that controls the feeding stop mechanism. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the dust from the photoelectric switch.
